Because of Senator Fitz-Gerald’s record as a friend to seniors, ranging from health care to increased funding for crucial programs to benefit older Coloradans, she has a 100 percent rating with the AARP and the Colorado Senior Lobby. She supported increased funding for the Older Coloradans Cash Fund and supported the creation of the Supplemental Old Age Pension Health and Medical Care Program.
