Fitz-Gerald Fundraising Shows Broad Support from Nearly 1,500 Donors
WESTMINSTER, Colo.—Today Senator Joan Fitz-Gerald, former President of the Colorado State Senate and a candidate for the Second Congressional District, announced she has raised $257,543 from 1473 donors this quarter alone. The average individual contribution was $151.68.
“We are grateful that nearly 1,500 people contributed to our campaign because it shows broad support growing for Joan coming out of the county assemblies,” said Mary Alice Mandarich, Fitz-Gerald campaign manager. “We have built a precinct by precinct ground organization through the caucus process and we are exactly on target for having the resources to be successful for the primary on August 12th.”
To date, 3,467 people have donated to the campaign for a total of $1,136,189.44. The campaign now has just under $600,000 cash on hand.
