Because of Senator Fitz-Gerald’s record as a friend to seniors, ranging from health care to increased funding for crucial programs to benefit older Coloradans, she has a 100 percent rating with the AARP and the Colorado Senior Lobby. She supported increased funding for the Older Coloradans Cash Fund and supported the creation of the Supplemental Old Age Pension Health and Medical Care Program.

Joan will be participating in the Relay for Life Parade in Broomfield on Friday June 20th.
Everyone will be meeting at the Commons and walking around the football field. Wear a blue shirt to show your support for the event!

Join Joan Fitz-Gerald as she walks with friends in PrideFest 2008 Parade on Sunday June 22nd. The Parade will begin at 9:30am and will proceed down Colfax Ave.

Joan will be participating the the annual Go Boulder Celebrity Commuter Race. The race will travel throughout the city of Boulder to highlight Boulder's travel options.
Joan will be on Team One, driving her Honda Civic Hybrid and carpooling with Keefer from KBCO and David Driscoll from the Transportation Advisory Board.
Their destination will be a trip to the Sunflower Market, then a stop at Dushanbe Teahouse, and then back to the Municipal Building.
