Democrats Work are at it again with with the help of the Boulder County Democratic Party this time for round two of the "Coats and Cans Primary".  After a good showing (considering the weather), the Fitz-Gerald campaign is looking to work hard with everyone involved to gather more donations and help the Community Food Share in round two. 

If you have any free time on Sunday November 18 please stop by to donate any old coats you have and drop off some canned goods on Joans' behalf.  Democrats work is also looking for a number of volunteers to help out with sorting food at the Community Food Share at the same time as the food drive.

Live on ESPN at Invesco Field at Mile High

The Buffs square off against their favorite rivals the Nebraska Cornhuskers the day after Thanksgiving in the final game of the season at Folsom Field on Fri. Nov. 23. The game will be nationally televised on ABC starting at 10am, as well as 850 KOA.

Congressional Candidate Joan Fitz-Gerald will be at the Boulder County Dems Headquarters on Dec. 5th for a 'Meet and Greet' starting at 4:30 in the afternoon. Everyone will have two opportunities to hear Joan and talk with her about this race and why she is running for the Democratic nomination.

The first session will be from 4:30 to 5:45 and the second will immediately follow and last until @ 7pm. We scheduled two sessions for your convenience, so join us for either session or feel free to attend both.

The event is open to all and all are welcome. So tell a friend, encourage participation and bring yourself to engage with Joan Fitz-Gerald. Come find out why she is the best candidate for Congressional District 2!

This time around the Democrats Work are teaming up with the Summit County Democratic Party for Round three of the 'Coats and Cans Primary'. Dec. 10th is the third and final round so this is the last chance to cast your votes for Joan while contributing to the local charities.

The format is the same so bring any coats you may have and cans to donate to the December Summit Count Dems meeting in the Frisco Recreation Building. All are welcome to stay for the meeting but is not mandatory to contribute to the 'primary'.

So come out and join the with the Dems in Summit County for a good cause and to show your support for Joan.

Live on FOX at Invesco Field at Mile High

Sit, Drink Coffee and chat with Joan Fitz-Gerald as she meets with Boulder residents at the Nomad Co-housing Common House.

Joan will be talking and taking questions, so come engage her in discussion about the issues that most concern you for the CD2 race.

Joan will be at the Gilpin County School speaking to the High School students and teachers in the auditorium. She will be joined by some of the folks running for county commissioner and possibly the other candidates running for CD2.

Joan will be joining the Clear Creek Democrats for their monthly town hall meeting at Beau Jo's Pizza in Idaho Springs.  She will be joined by many other elected officials listening to the town's concerns and upcoming legislation. 

After the Town Hall and the delicious Beau Jo's pie the Democrats meeting will immediately follow.

Joan will have a chance to speak with the Clear Creek Dems about her and her race for CD2.  Please join us and show your support for Joan up in Clear Creek. 

Joan will be visiting Grand County, driving town by town through the afternoon until she concludes her trip in Summit County.

She will be arriving at the Rocky Mountain Roastery in Winter Park to meet with County Chair Clint Roberts and any residents who would like to sit and have a cup of coffee with her. Feel free to come by and discuss with her or just say hello.

Joan leaves for Granby at 1:30 and will be eating at Ian's Mountian Bakery. Come and grab a bit of pizza!

She will then make a quick stop at the Grand County Courthouse in Hot Sulfur Springs to say hello to some friends that she has know since she was Jeffco Clerk & Recorder in 1990.

Joan will make her last stop in Kremmling meeting with County Secretary John Dolan and town residents in the deli at the Kremmling Mercantile.

Joan finally heads down hwy 9 into Summit County where she will be arriving at Abbey's Coffee on Main St. in Frisco at 5pm. She will be meeting with supporters for a late afternoon coffee then heading out with those interested in attending the Summit County Dems monthly meeting.

Go to the Democratic meeting in the Granby Library if you are interested in attending caucus on Feb. 5th and need more information about how it all works. They will have a training going over the rules and procedures of the Colorado Democratic Caucus process.

Come see Joan as she joins the Summit County Dems as they hold their monthly Central Committee Meeting at the Frisco Recreation Center.

At 6pm things will start with the leadership meeting and then at 7pm Caucus training will commence with Dan Slater, CDP Vice Chair.

So come to learn more about the rules and procedures of the Caucus process and have a chance to meet with Joan and hear her speak with the Summit County Dems.

Joan will be joining the Broomfield Dems for their annual Pancake Breakfast at the Lakeshore Room in the Broomfield Community Center. Not only will she be enjoying pancakes and mingling with the crowd but she will be given a chance to speak to the crowd.

Come to speak with her about the campaign and the importance of going to Caucus on Feb. 5th, or just bring a friendly conversation or a question you've been itching to ask.

Joan will be joining the Jeffco Dems for their Italian Fest at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in the the Auditorium.

Joan will be stopping by to meet with the PLAN-Boulder folks at the Spice of Life Center for a social gathering, dinner and then speaker.  Catch her early to talk with her before all the events begin.

Joan will be attending the North Boulder 6 precinct - Candidate Forum at the North Boulder Recreation Center.  Come to see Joan as she discusses her campaign and answers the tough questions from the North Boulder constituents.  The schedule for the evening is as follows:

She will help to make Valentines to be delivered to hospitalized veterans recovering at Denver's VA Hospital as part of National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans Week.
